Workmanship
MJG Trading stands behind workmanship carried out as part of the agreed job. Any concern believed to relate directly to our workmanship should be reported promptly so that it can be assessed.
Products and manufacturer warranties
Motors, electronics, batteries, access-control equipment, CCTV products and other supplied items may carry manufacturer or supplier warranties. The applicable warranty period and conditions depend on the specific product and supplier. Manufacturer warranties do not automatically cover labour, call-out charges or unrelated faults unless expressly stated.
Existing systems
Servicing or repairing one component does not create a warranty over the remainder of an existing system. Older doors, gates, wiring, mechanical components and security systems can develop separate faults due to age, wear or pre-existing conditions.
Warranty exclusions
Warranty claims may be affected by misuse, impact damage, unauthorised modification or repair, incorrect operation, lack of required maintenance, normal wear and tear, pests, water ingress, corrosion, lightning, power surges, unstable power supply, theft, vandalism or other external causes.
Assessment
A reported warranty issue may require an inspection before responsibility can be determined. If the fault is not related to MJG Trading workmanship or a covered supplied product, normal assessment, call-out, repair or replacement charges may apply.
Contact
To report an issue, contact MJG Trading on 066 076 9056 or mj@mjgtrading.co.za with the job details and a description of the problem.
